Robert Hayes, Professor (Emeritus)

Biography

Professor Hayes obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry at the University of California in 1962. He joined the faculty at Notre Dame in 1961 and has been here since then, except for a semester spent as a visiting associate professor at the University of California in 1971 and a year on leave at the Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron in Hamburg 1975-76.
