Research Interests

We are interested in the development of well-defined network assemblies due to the potential of these materials for roles in catalysis, chemical separation and small molecule storage. We have shown that magnesium frameworks are not only lightweight, but also robust frameworks that are capable of exchanging small molecules. Current work is underway in developing examining the formation of these materials from solution as well as examining various solid state reactions within the pores.
